In this demo, I used the new Template Gallery in the Azure Functions VS Code extension to spin up a complete Azure Functions project with a single click.
All I did was setting the extension value: azureFunctions.enableTemplateGallery to true. Once enabled, the traditional “Create New Project” wizard is replaced with a searchable and filterable visual gallery. From there, I can browse and select from ready to use Azure Functions templates
The templates are maintained by the Azure Functions team, so they come preconfigured with the latest best practices, recommended settings, and Azure Developer CLI support.
